Covid-19 Numbers: India Reports 1.79 Lakh Fresh Cases, Omicron Numbers Cross 4,000

India logged 1.79 Lakh fresh cases of Covid-19 over the past 24 hours which takes the total tally of active cases country at 7,23,619. 146 Deaths were recorded and the daily positivity rate is at 13.29%. On Monday, the Omicron tally stood at 4,033, with Maharashtra (1,216) continuing to top the variant case count.
