Delhi-NCR Witnesses Dust Storms After Intense Heatwave Over Weekend

On April 25, Delhi, Gurgaon and other parts of National Capital Region (NCR) witnessed dust storms. This comes after the region experienced a series of heatwaves over the weekend. The dust storm was accompanied by moderate rainfall. Netizens took to social media to share videos showing dust storms and moderate rainfall in the region. As reported by ANI, the wind speed was nearly 30-50 kmph. As reported by ANI, the bad weather conditions affected flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on April 25 night.
