The Delhi police has become ‘Baaghi (rebel)’ to take on fake news. Naming it ‘sweet warning’ to those spreading hate, the police said they will track own the wrongdoers. ‘Be a rebel against all networks of false information. Be vigilant against rumour mongers. Let's unite to fight fake,’ is the tagline of the campaign. The opposition has blamed the hate speeches by BJP leaders for the violence witnessed in Delhi. The police has been widely criticised for failing to curb the hate speech and violence which claimed at least 48 lives.
