Doctors Protesting NEET Counselling Delay Forcefully Removed By Delhi Police, FORDA Announces Massive Strike

On December 27, resident doctors in Delhi alleged that they were brutallyย beaten and detained by the police. They have threatened a complete shutdown of healthcare services. The doctors have been protestingย against the delay in college allotments post the NEET exam. FORDA (Federation of Resident Doctors' Association) calledย upon all RDAs associated with it as well as other doctors' associations across India for complete shutdown of healthcare services. AIIMS Resident Doctors' Association has come outย in support of FORDA. AIIMS Students Association said that itย condemns the brutality by Delhi Police against residents at a peaceful protest.ย Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared one of the videos of the face-off between the police and the doctors and said, โ€œI am with the Covid-19 warriors.โ€ Watch the video to know more.
