Full dress rehearsal took place at Rajpath on January 23, ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26. Several tableaus attracted people. This year the parade will also include Dhanush 145 mm 52 caliber Howitzers which have been recently inducted into the army. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will also showcase the Anti-Satellite Weapon System. Rehearsals for the Republic Day parade are in full swing with contingents belonging to different forces. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will be visiting India as the chief guest on Republic Day 2020.
