Gurgaddi Diwas celebrates the day each successive Sikh Guru attained Guruship and Gurgaddi literally means “Guru’s Throne.” Gurgaddi Diwas Guru Gobind Singh Ji 2022 celebrates the day when the young Gobind Rai was ordained as the next Sikh Guru. Guru Gobind Ji was the son of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who was executed by Aurangzeb. Following his father’s martyrdom, Guru Gobind Ji became the tenth and final Guru of the Sikhs in human form.
