A widely-circulated video purportedly shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi announcing an investment scheme, promising high returns. It is claimed that the supposed scheme will help investors earn INR 1.25 lakh daily on an investment of INR 21,000. Is this video real? Has PM Modi announced any investment scheme? Is the government running any investment platform? PIB Fact Check, a fact-checking unit of the central government, has debunked the viral video about PM Modi announcing an investment scheme as fake. "The video is digitally manipulated. No such investment scheme has been launched. PM Modi or the government of India is NOT associated with any such platform," PIB Fact Check clarified on July 04.
