India and China have reached an agreement on disengagement at Pangong Tso in Ladakh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on February 11 in parliament. He gave details of a breakthrough after a protracted stand-off & several rounds of talks between military commanders & diplomats. China’s Defence Ministry also announced that Chinese & Indian troops on the southern & northern shores of Pangong Tso began “synchronized & organised disengagement” in line with the consensus reached between Corps Commanders when they last met on January 24. According to the statement made by Rajnath Singh & Chinese Defence Ministry, troops from both sides have started disengaging from the Pangong Tso area in eastern Ladakh. Watch the video to know more.
