Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde Takes Oath As The 47th Chief Justice Of India

Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde was sworn in as the 47th Chief Justice of India on Monday. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. Oath taking ceremony was administered by President Ram Nath Kovind. His name was recommended by former CJI Ranjan Gogoi. Bobde will retire on April 23, 2021.
