Schools in Karnataka to close if the Covid-19 test positivity rate reaches the five per cent. BC Nagesh, minister of primary and secondary education, said schools will remain open in districts unless and until the Covid-19 test positivity rate reaches five per cent, as per a Times Of India report. This matter was discussed during a virtual meeting convened by chief minister Basavaraj Bommai. Meanwhile, schools in Bengaluru will remain closed till January 31 for classes 1 to 9.
