Pant remained unbeaten on 118 and helped Super Giants post 227/3 on board. Chasing it, Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a steady start as well but Akash Singh struck them by dismissing Phil Salt (30). Virat Kohli (54) continued charge from other end but Royal Challengers kept losing the likes of Rajat Patidar and Liam Livingstone. They looked really in trouble after Avesh Khan dismissed Virat Kohli. But that is when Jitesh Sharma took charge alongside Mayank Agarwal (41*) and the duo powered Royal Challengers over the finishing line. Jitesh remained unbeaten on 33-ball 85. With this win Royal Challengers finished second in the IPL 2025 points table and entered the Qualifier 1.
