Maharashtra Records 18,466 Covid-19 Cases, Mumbai Crosses Ten Thousand Mark

Maharashtra on Tuesday again notched a big jump in Covid-19 cases with 18,466 fresh cases being recorded. Mumbai alone accounted for ten thousand plus cases. The state recorded 75 new Omicron cases and 20 deaths due to the infection. The surge in cases come as the state administration has said that Mumbai will be put under lockdown if Covid-19 cases in the city cross 20,000 cases in 24 hours.
