Maharashtra: Sanjay Raut Says Mumbai Police Investigating ED Officers For Targeting Ministers, Devendra Fadnavis Accuses MVA Govt Of Misusing Agencies

On March 8, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said the Mumbai Police were probing extortion charges against Enforcement Directorate officers. Sanjay Raut, however, did not reveal the names or designations of these ED officials. On March 8, a leader considered close to Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray, was raided by the Income Tax Department. Meanwhile, Devendra Fadnavis levelled allegations in the legislative assembly against Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government for misusing the central agencies to frame opposition leaders in false cases, reported The Times Of India.
