On February 8, the Maharashtra government issued a circular asking schools to begin classes for pre-primary to standard IV from 9 am or later, reported PTI. The circular mentioned that the change in timing is required due to change in lifestyle of people. The circular said that children sleep late and have to wake up early for school.
