Manipur Violence: Four Killed, 14 Injured In Thoubal On New Year’s Day; Curfew Imposed In 5 Districts

Manipur experienced fresh violence on the first day of new year. At least four people were killed and 14 others left injured in the attack. The incident took place in Thoubal district on January 1. The police said that the incident took place at Lilong Chingjao, where armed attackers opened fire at people, reported IANS. Curfew was reimposed in Thoubal, Imphal East and Imphal West, Kakching and Bishnupur. Chief Minister N Biren Singh appealed for peace. Watch the video to know more.
