Microsoft Layoffs: Software Giant’s Decision May Impact Jobs In HR And Engineering Departments; Nearly 11,000 Job Cuts Likely

Software giant Microsoft is all set to layoff thousands of employees on January 18, 2023. Microsoft is looking to cut around 5 per cent of its workforce or about 11,000 jobs, Reuters reported citing Sky News. Reportedly, the job cuts will take place in the human resources and engineering departments. This comes after companies like Amazon and Meta have already laid off thousands of its employees due to the global economic scenario. This news comes just weeks after Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella warned that the next two years will be challenging for the employees. Watch the video to know more.
