CryptoGeorge Floyd’s death at the hands of a Minneapolis Police man and the consequent nation-wide protests in the U.S. have led the city’s council members to decide to dismantle the police department. “We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department,” Council Member Jeremiah Ellis said on Twitter. “And when we’re done, we’re not simply gonna glue it back together. We are going to dramatically rethink how we approach public safety and emergency response.”
