As many as eight passengers were injured on a Vistara flight from Mumbai to Kolkata on June 7. The Vistara flight encountered severe turbulence 15 minutes before landing. Of the eight, while five suffered only minor injuries, three were taken to the hospital, reported The Indian Express. The flight UK775 was being operated on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft and was carrying 113 passengers on board. It departed from Mumbai at 1.48 pm and arrived in Kolkata at 4.28 pm.
