Crypto2012 Delhi Gang rape convicts were hanged today at 05:30am at Tihar Jail. The four convicts -- Akshay Thakur, 31, Pawan Gupta, 25, Vinay Sharma, 26, And Mukesh Singh, 32, had exhausted all avenues of appeal as their last plea was rejected by the Supreme Court at 03:30am filed by their lawyer AP Singh. Nirbhaya had been brutally gang-raped, tortured and left for dead on December 16, 2012 in the bylanes of Delhi. She died of her injuries but her parents fought for justice for their daughter. Reactions have been pouring in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, as well as other known faces echoing the sentiments of Indians.
