Delhi Capitals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in IPL 2025 at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur on May 24.  Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first. Punjab Kings did not get off to a great start as Mustafizur Rahman (3/33) dismissed Priyansh Arya early. After a brisk innings, Josh Inglis departed as well. Vipraj Nigam (2/38) was the one who dismissed Josh Inglis (32) and later Prabhsimran Singh (28). Shreyas Iyer (53) stayed at one end and alongside Marcus Stoinis (44*), took Punjab Kings to a competitive 206/8. Chasing it, Delhi Capitals were off to a steady start in the powerplay, although they lost two wickets in quick succession and were in trouble at one point. Karun Nair (44) stitched a partnership with Sediqullah Atal (22) and later Sameer Rizvi (58*) to take Delhi Capitals to a good position. After Karun Nair was dismissed by Brar (2/41), it looked like Delhi Capitals could fumble. But Sameer Rizvi played a solid knock, taking them over the finish line comfortably. This is the seventh and the last victory for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025. On the other hand, Punjab Kings suffered their fourth loss.
