Perseid meteor shower, the annual celestial event, will be visible from┬аAugust 11 night. It is predicted to reach its peak before dawn on August 12, Thursday. Reportedly, this year's conditions are as near to perfect as can be to watch the meteor shower. Tail of comet Swift-Tuttle deposited a stream of dust in space, reported Hindustan Times. Every year, the Earth passes through this region around July 17 till August 24. In between this period, when the Earth passes through the densest part of the "river of rubble", around August 12, it triggers the peak of the meteor shower.┬аReportedly, one can catch the┬аbest glimpses of meteors soon after evening twilight ends.┬аAlso┬аall one has to do is to find a dark spot away from city lights to watch the meteor shower.
