Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora in Qatar. People gathered in large numbers outside the hotel in Doha to greet PM Modi. People were carrying the Indian flag in their hands and chanted, "Modi Modi" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. PM Modi shook hands with the people and also clicked pictures with them. PM Modi wrote on X, “An exceptional welcome in Doha! Grateful to the Indian diaspora.” PM Modi met with his counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and discussed the ties between New Delhi and Doha.
