On March 19, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sent a four-page preliminary reply to the Delhi Police's notice. Gandhi’s "women still being sexually assaulted" remark made during the Bharat Jodo Yatra is the reason behind the notice. Gandhi gave the 10-point reply hours after Delhi Police reached his residence for the third time in five days, reported PTI. The PTI report said the Congress leader has sought 8 to10 days to give a detailed response
