Large number of devotees visited Ayodhya on the occasion of Ram Navami. The Ram temple doors were opened for pilgrims at 3:30 am on April 17. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has extended the period of darshan on this auspicious occasion. No special darshan will be organised for the day. the ‘Divya Abhisheka’ of the Ram Lalla idol was performed at the temple. ‘Divya Abhisheka’ is a sacred ritual involving the ceremonial bath of the deity. This year’s Ram Navami holds significance as it marks the first Ram Navami celebration at the temple following the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
