CryptoShilpa Shetty and family bid adieu to Ganpati Bappa on August 23. They immersed the idol of Lord Ganesha in a water-filled tub at home itself. The family had welcomed Lord Ganesha on August 22. Shilpa, husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan and her mother-in-law were twinning in yellow on the occasion. Shilpa’s mother Sunanda was also present. Shraddha Kapoor also bid goodbye to Ganpati bappa along with her family members and mum Shivangi Kolhapure. Like every year, Salman Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family. Salman, a few of his industry friends, including Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah attended the Ganpati celebrations at Sohail Khan’s residence on August 23. Salman’s sister Arpita Khan, husband Aayush Sharma, Atul & Alvira Agnihotri, Salman’s parents Salim Khan, Salma Khan and Helen, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan were all present for the visarjan. Atul Agnihotri had shared a video of the family performing aarti. In the video Salman can be seen teaching nephew Ahil how to do the aarti. Shah Rukh Khan too celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi like every year. He shared a black-and-white picture of himself with a teeka on his forehead highlighted in red. Pooja Hegde shared a mesmerising photo on her Instagram handle as she celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at home. Rajkummar Rao made an eco-friendly Ganesha at home with wheat flour and turmeric. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s kids Riaan and Rahyl made eco-friendly Ganesha at home from scratch with the help of their father. Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared an old photo of the Dil Bechara star on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
