The couple first had an intimate marriage ceremony on June 23, where the duo did the formalities under the Special Marriage Act in the presence of their families and close friends. Following the marriage registration procedure, a grand party was hosted in the evening for which A-listers from the industry were seen in attendance. However, Sonakshi's brothers, Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha, skipped their sister's wedding ceremony. They were neither seen at the formal ceremony nor at the star-studded wedding reception.
