Ukraine-Russia Conflict: Indian Students Stuck In Sumy, MEA Says Working To Coordinate Safe Passage

Several Indian students have been stuck in Sumy, Ukraine as Russia continues its attack on the east European nation. The students have been appealing to the Indian government for their safe evacuation. On March 6, the Indian Embassy tweeted, “Indian students advised to be ready to leave on short notice.” Many Indian students have been struggling for survival in Ukraine. G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Culture, Tourism & development of North Eastern region said he spoke to a student in Ukraine and assured her of her safe return to India. Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine on February 24. Watch the video to know more.
