West Bengal, Kerala & Tamil Nadu Tableau for Republic Day Parade has been rejected by the Centre. The Chief Ministers have expressed disappointment and have sought PM Narendra Modi’s immediate intervention in the matter. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has written to PM Modi requesting him to look into the matter. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also expressed his disappointment. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor tweeted, “This is indeed bizarre.” Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted, “Existing criteria and proposals for selection were scrupulously followed.” Watch the video to know more.
