Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu and Jair Bolsonari have thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recent days. The reason behind this is the prompt response by India to supply hydroxychloroquine to their countries. Donald Trump had described hydroxychloroquine as a "game-changer" in fight against COVID-19. India is one of the largest manufacturers of the anti-malarial drug, hydroxychloroquine. Trump thanked Modi for providing US with the drug and said India’s help during the crises will not be forgotten. In his address to the nation, Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro, who attended this year's Republic Day in Delhi as the chief guest, also thanked PM Modi for the ‘timely help’. Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu also thanked India and PM Modi for rushing a five-tonne cargo of medicines including hydroxychloroquine. The deadly virus has infected over 1.6 million people globally.
