Virali Modi, a wheelchair-bound woman was allegedly asked to stand up from her wheelchair for security check at Delhi airport despite her declaring that she can't stand due to a spinal injury she suffered in 2006. While speaking to ANI, Virali Modi said, “I've sent email to CISF HQ. I also called them up & registered a complaint. Sr Commander, Delhi called me up and apologised. But that isn't enough, something more should be done. More training should be given to them. They need to be more empathetic. Want a written apology.”
