Workers of Raj Thackeray-Led MNS Thrash Security Guard in Mumbai’s Powai Over Speaking Marathi

In a shocking incident in Mumbai, a security guard working in Mumbai's Powai was confronted and thrashed by Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers for not being able to speak Marathi. The viral clip shows the security guard folding his hands and apologising as MNS workers continue to rebuke him. One of the MNS workers is also seen slapping the man for not being able to converse in Marathi. The incident comes days after MNS workers slapped a D-Mart employee in Mumbai's Versova for refusing to speak Marathi. Earlier, a leader of the Uddhav Thackeray faction questioned Airtel’s hiring policies after its employee at the Airtel gallery in Charkop refused to speak in Marathi.
