Yamuna River Level Rises: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Warns People In Low-Lying Areas To Evacuate Soon

On July 12, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged people residing in low-lying areas near the Yamuna River to evacuate as soon as possible. Yamuna river swelled to a record-breaking level on July 12, reported NDTV. CM Kejriwal said, “People in low-lying areas near the need to be evacuated.” On July 12, Yamuna shot up to 207.71 meters. Yamuna has surpassed its earlier record of 207.49 meters set in 1978. Incessant rains have wreaked havoc at many places in north India. Watch the video to know more.
