The bodies were recovered at around 11:30 pm from the family's residence in the Daspara (Machhuapara) area of Rangpur. According to police, the main gate was locked and the lights inside the house were switched off. Officers broke open the lock and entered the property, where they found the four bodies. The deaths have been described as suspicious, and authorities have launched an investigation.
Family Lost Contact With Victims
Puja Chakraborty, Pritilata's younger sister, said she last spoke to her sister on Thursday afternoon. The family's four mobile phones were reportedly switched off from Thursday night.

Family members said they were unable to identify any immediate dispute or possible motive behind the deaths. Relatives also described Ganapati as a person who had no known enemies.
Details About the Family
Ganapati Chakraborty had retired from Rangpur Zilla School on December 31 last year. His daughter Agami had recently completed a master's degree in English from Rangpur Carmichael College. His son Priyam was a Class 5 student at Rangpur Zilla School. After retirement, Ganapati was reportedly working as a homoeopathic practitioner. The family had reportedly built a new house in the Daspara area and had been living there.
Investigation Underway
Investigators are examining the house and the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Reports said the bodies were found in different parts of the residence, and forensic examination is expected to help establish the sequence of events.
Police have not yet established the motive or publicly determined whether the deaths resulted from a targeted attack, another form of criminal activity or any other circumstance.
