Scott Morrison, Australian PM, Tweets Selfie With Narendra Modi With Hindi Caption; Here's How Indian Prime Minister Responded

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison took a selfie with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G20 Summit in Osaka in Japan. The newly-elected Australian Prime Minister, met Modi in the morning and shared some light moments with him on the sidelines of the summit.

Osaka, June 29: Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Friday clicked a selfie with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Osaka in Japan. Reciprocating the same emotions, Modi quoted Morrison's tweet and wrote, "Mate, I'm stoked about the energy of our bilateral relationship! @ScottMorrisonMP".

In the picture, both the leaders are seen smiling while taking a casual selfie. The G20 (Group of Twenty) is an international leaders' forum comprising 19 countries and the European Union. The 14th edition of the G20 Summit is being held here from June 28-29.

On Friday, PM Modi held a series of meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Osaka. The PM held meetings with the presidents of China and Russia, and with US President Donald Trump and Japanese premier Shinzo Abe. Modi held a “very open and productive” meeting with Trump, including on bilateral trade issues, as the two leaders pledged to provide a “strong leadership” to the world to address pressing global challenges like terrorism.
