Muzaffarnagar, Sep 17 (PTI) A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at Dewal village here, police said Monday.

His body was found hanging from the tree in an area under the Ramraj police station on Sunday evening, Station House Officer Kuldeep Singh said.

The reason behind him taking the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, he said.

The body was sent for post mortem and the matter is being investigated, police said. PTI CORR
