New Delhi [India], Feb 27 (ANI): ‘Aviation Conclave 2019: Flying for All’ was held in the national capital on Wednesday where a passenger charter was released by Union Minister for Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu.Experts from different sectors, including drone ecosystem, aircraft manufacturing and aircraft financing among others participated in brainstorming sessions to pave the way to realise India’s dreams of becoming world’s largest aviation market by 2040 or sooner.“India is working towards growth and development that the Prime Minister has been talking about in this new India. A new India will also ensure the safety and security of its citizens and also the well-being of its people. We are working towards it," Prabhu said."Today, we organised an aviation summit where we are trying to make sure that aviation will progress in a holistic and comprehensive way so that vision of everybody can fly becomes a reality,” he added.The participants of panel discussions included bankers, the CMDs of aircraft companies, representatives from the Ministry of Defence and Airports Authority of India.India, which is one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world, aims to be the leader and if the current progress is something to go by, the country will attain the numero uno position by 2035.Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha was also present on the occasion.
