New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) Leading stock exchange BSE today said its mutual fund platform has surpassed 10,000-mark for registration of mutual fund distributors.

Adding over 1,500 new distributors every month, the overall distribution network has crossed over 2 lakh in over 3,000 towns across India, the BSE said in a statement.

The exchange said its mutual fund platform BSE StAR MF's distribution reach and network has "grown over 10,500 registered distributors (mutual funds distributors and mutual funds intermediaries) and over 2 lakh considering the employees and business associates of registered distributors on its network in over 3,000 towns across India."
