Security software provider Quick Heal Technologies Wednesday said its consolidated net profit more than doubled to Rs 15.8 crore in October-December 2018 against Rs 6.6 crore in the year-ago period.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Security software provider Quick Heal Technologies Wednesday said its consolidated net profit more than doubled to Rs 15.8 crore in October-December 2018 against Rs 6.6 crore in the year-ago period.
Its revenues increased 3.8 per cent to Rs 66.7 crore from Rs 64.2 crore in the October-December 2017 quarter, Quick Heal said in a BSE filing.
"There has been a sustained momentum in the business with an overall revenue growth of 15 per cent in our year-to-date operating performance...While retail segment grew by 15 per cent, the growth of 7 per cent in the Enterprise and Government segment has been lower than our expectations," Quick Heal Technologies Managing Director and CEO Kailash Katkar said.

IT firm Mphasis Wednesday said it has appointed Andres Ricaurte as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Payments.
In this role, Ricaurte will be responsible for increasing Mphasis' strategic focus in the payments space and accelerating momentum in the global payments industry, it said in a statement.
"His experience, combined with our strong footprint of proven capabilities within the financial services verticals, will enable us to deliver a wide range of innovative solutions to the complex payments market," Dinesh Venugopal, President-Direct and Digital at Mphasis, said.
Before joining Mphasis, Ricaurte served as Vice President - Global B2B Digital Platforms for American Express. He serves as a board member and strategic advisor to several start-ups in the payments and fintech space.

Amazon Web Services expands Edge capabilities with two new locations in India *
Amazon Web Services, Inc (AWS), an Amazon.com company, Wednesday said it has added two new Edge locations in Hyderabad and Delhi.
"This expands the total Amazon CloudFront locations in India to 11 Points of Presence across Mumbai (three), New Delhi (three), Chennai (two), Hyderabad (two), and Bengaluru (one)," AWS said in a statement.
No financial details of the investment were disclosed.
Amazon CloudFront uses a global network of 166 Points of Presence (including 155 Edge Locations and 11 Regional Edge Caches) in 65 cities across 29 countries, it added.
