The company will train 20 shortlisted young women, five each from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Haryana - the states where it has its plants--to become commercial pilots as part of the company's commitment to empower women. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, the implementing authority for the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway, has partnered with the Wildlife Institute of India to build underpasses to enable unrestricted movement of the wildlife along the corridor.
To make the construction process convenient and manageable, the work has been divided into 16 construction packages, the corporation said in a statement.
