Bhuj (Gujarat) [India], September 6 (ANI): The Border Security Forces on Friday recovered 11 packets of suspected narcotics, weighing approximately 11 kg, from a remote island near the Jakhau Coast in Bhuj.

This seizure is part of an ongoing effort by the BSF, which has since June 2024 recovered a total of 261 suspected drug packets from remote islands off the Jakhau coast, the Border security Forces said in an official release.

BSF continues it's search operations across the isolated islands and creeks off the Jakhau coast in Bhuj, the release stated.

Earlier, in June, the BSF recovered 10 packets of suspected drugs from an isolated island off the Jakhau coast in Gujarat's Bhuj.
