Sukma, June 3: A police head constable was stabbed to death by unidentified persons in the jurisdiction area of Gadiras Police Station in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, police said. The deceased police personnel identified as Sodhi Laxman was stabbed with a sharp weapon on Sunday.

A case has been registered against the unidentified assailants and the police have started investigations. Sukma is one of the worst affected districts by Maoist and Naxalite activities and is considered a war zone by security forces.
