New Delhi [India], April 30 (ANI): The Election Commission on Tuesday, reviewed the preparedness for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, scheduled on May 7.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu held a meeting with 265 observers deployed to monitor the phase.

"The Election Commission today reviewed preparedness for Phase 3 of #GeneralElections2024 with the 265 Observers deployed for monitoring the Phase. This includes Special, General, Police and Expenditure Observers," the ECI stated in a post on X.

The seven-phase Lok Sabha elections are underway and the counting of votes will be held on June 4.

Polling for the first two phases concluded over a total of 191 constituencies. 102 constituencies went to poll during the first phase, while 89 seats voted on April 26. The next phase is scheduled on May 7. (ANI)
