Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 15 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of 'Shardiya Navratri'.

In a message to the people of the state, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said "May this holy festival bring happiness, prosperity and new enthusiasm in everyone's life and may the Goddess give strength to the people of the state to overcome the aftermath of the catastrophe that hit the state during the monsoons."

"It is only with the blessings of the Goddess that we get the strength and ability to move ahead in life crossing every hurdle. Navratri has long been revered as holy festival in the Indian tradition and he wished well being and happiness to the people of the state," added CM Sukhu.

Earlier, while presiding over the closing ceremony of the annual program 'Stimulus' of Indira Gandhi Medical College here on Friday, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Health ID card of all the residents of the state would be made by November 30.

The Chief Minister said that it will have complete information about the health history of the patient in a single click.

"When you are willing to put in the hours and energy required, you are more likely to make progress and achieve success in life. Many targets are not easily achievable and may invoke setbacks and failures, hard work teaches perseverance through challenges and one should continue working towards your goal, even when things get tough", stated the Chief Minister.
