New Delhi [India], September 25 (ANI): Advisor to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Awanish Kumar Awasthi, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last 10 years, India has come to the centre stage of the world.

Speaking to ANI, Awasthi said that India's G20 presidency last year provided it with a platform to showcase its might.

"Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi in the last 10 years, we have moved to a position where India economically, strategically, in terms of education, and in terms of its diaspora has come to the centre stage of the world. The leadership in G20 also provided us with a platform to showcase what India is about," he said.

He further said that here today Indo American Chamber of Commerce meeting was organised.

The advisor to UP CM further said that India and the US needs to partner in "almost every area" to move forward. He also lauded the Indian diaspora in the United States.

"The US and India need to partner in almost every area possible so that we move forward. India has a large diaspora in the US and they are doing extremely well. They are in leadership positions. PM Modi recently met some of the CEOs in United States so we have a common platform and shared relationship," Awasthi said.

"All countries have their own democracies and systems to be in place. We should all respect the various democracies of the world and at the same time, expect that our democracy is respected," he added.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Delhi on Tuesday evening after concluding his three-day "very intense and successful" visit to the US.

During his visit to the US, PM Modi attended the Quad Leaders Summit in US President Joe Biden's hometown, Delaware. He delivered remarks at the United Nations 'Summit of The Future' and held bilateral meetings with several leaders.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi shared highlights of his visit to the United States, saying it has been "fruitful", covered diverse programmes and focused on a series of subjects aimed at making the planet better.

The Prime Minister shared a brief video of his engagements, from the Quad Summit to a series of bilateral meetings including with Biden. He also shared highlights of his address to the Indian diaspora, interaction with important American business leaders and address at the Summit of the Future in the United Nations.

"This has been a fruitful USA visit, covering diverse programmes and focusing on a series of subjects aimed at making our planet better. Here are the highlights," PM Modi said in a post on X. (ANI)
