Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 9 (ANI): The Mumbai police on Monday arrested a sanitation worker for allegedly trying to molest a 15-year-old girl undergoing treatment at JJ Hospital in Mumbai.

The accused has been identified as Rohidas Solanki. He has been arrested under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.

The victim's mother lodged a complaint at the JJ Marg police station after the girl informed the doctor about the incident.

Based on the complaint, when the victim's mother was cleaning her bed, the accused sanitation worker came to her on the pretext of helping despite not being called. When the victim girl's mother went to throw garbage in the dustbin, the accused allegedly tried to molest her.

The Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case. (ANI)
