New Delhi, Sep 13 (PTI) Aditya Birla Capital Digital Ltd on Wednesday said it has launched a payment lounge -- a multi-mode collections platform -- to enable merchants provide a secure and faster transaction experience to customers making digital payments.

The payment infrastructure platform is powered by omnichannel payment solutions company PhiCommerce.

The payment lounge supports various payment modes, including UPI, debit, and credit cards, direct to bank via QR code scans, buy-now-pay-later, wallet and link-based payment options, Aditya Birla Capital Digital Ltd said in a statement.

StanChart partners with Cummins to digitalise last-mile incentive payments to mechanics

Standard Chartered Bank on Wednesday said it has partnered with Cummins Technologies India Pvt Ltd to digitalise last-mile incentive payments for mechanics through the latter's Saathi app.

Mechanics enrolled under the Cummins MITWA Mechanic Loyalty Program (MLP) will receive incentives earned on the purchase of Cummins products instantly in their bank accounts through IMPS/UPI solution from Standard Chartered Bank, the bank said in a statement.

Cummins MITWA MLP is a QR code-based program that allows MITWA mechanics to redeem points and earn incentives by scanning the QR code on product packs with the Cummins Saathi app, it said.

Powergrid appoints joint statutory auditors for FY24

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (Powergrid) on Wednesday announced appointment of joint statutory auditors for the current fiscal.

"Comptroller & Auditor General of India vide its letter dated 12.09.2023 has conveyed the appointment of following joint statutory auditors of the company for the FY24," in a regulatory filing, the company said.

The auditors are S Ramanand Aiyar & Co, New Delhi; Sagar & Associates, Hyderabad; Suresh Surana & Associates LLP, Kolkata; and G D Apte & Co, Mumbai, it said.
