New Delhi, Sep 15 (PTI) Delhi on Sunday recorded a maximum temperature of 23.6 degrees Celsius, normal for the season, the India Meteorological Department said.

The humidity level at 5:30 pm was 70 per cent.

The weather office has predicted generally cloudy skies, with light rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by strong surface winds, on Monday.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital was recorded in the 'moderate' category with a reading of 115 at 10 pm, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
