Latur, Jan 4 (PTI) The police in the Latur district of Maharashtra have arrested a 26-year-old man for roaming with a sword in his village, an official said on Wednesday.

Akshay Satish Ambekar of Andora village in Ausa tehsil was taken into custody on Monday night after the police were informed that he was out in the village brandishing a weapon, said inspector Gajanan Bhatlawande.

Ambekar has been booked under the Arms Act.
