Three children drowned Saturday after their boat capsized in Bori river in Naldurg in Osmanabad district, over 400 kilometres from here, police said.
Mumbai, Apr 20 (PTI) Three children drowned Saturday after their boat capsized in Bori river in Naldurg in Osmanabad district, over 400 kilometres from here, police said.
The children, along with several relatives, had come for a picnic to the area when the incident happened at around 9am, an official said.
"While they were boating, the boat capsized. Several occupants swam to safety. However, three children, identified as Almas Jagirdar (9), Sania Kazi (8) and Ijaz Kazi (5) drowned," he said.
