A major reshuffle was ordered in the Delhi Police among the ranks of additional commissioner of police and deputy commissioner of police.

New Delhi, Aug 29 (PTI) A major reshuffle was ordered in the Delhi Police among the ranks of additional commissioner of police and deputy commissioner of police.

According to an official order, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya has been transferred as vice-principal, Police Training College in Jharoda Kalan.

Vijay Kumar, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) will be replacing Baaniya as DCP (South), it said.

Monika Bhardwaj, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest), will be stepping in Kumar's shoes as DCP(West).

Amarendra Kumar Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (Security) will assume the charge of Additional CP (Traffic), the order said.

Dhiraj Kumar, Additional CP (Security) will assume the charge of Additional CP (Special Branch), it added.
